恋してしまった星の王子 / Koishite Shimatta Hoshi no Ouji - スコルピオ Scorpio Review + Love End Walkthrough

制裁院のエース・副神官

Here is the walkthrough that got me to the love ending, please keep in mind that these choices are not the only ways to achieve this ending. The love meter also fluctuates throughout the story so it may decrease and increase but at the end it will get you to the best end. Since I purchased the ending set I did not have to play the whole route again for the forbidden end so I'm not sure if you can just access this end after one game play or would you have to get it through differing choices.

Warning: many comparisons between Soryu and Scorpio, a bit messy here and there (⊙﹏⊙✿)

As I mentioned before, the main story has 2 ends, love and forbidden similar to SHE & HE. Once you complete the last chapter, there is a short animated clip for that character. Its similar to the opening movie but this time Voltage isn't being biased towards just the main guy and made a clip for the other gods as well. Though I can't say for sure if the other gods will have this extra feature since their routes aren't released yet. Besides the two ends, there is also a short story.

I had so many feels when playing his route but I can't exactly put everything into words so bear with me for this review (I think its my first time writing a voltage review too...). Overall, I did enjoy Scorpio's route but it wasn't my favorite in terms of development, the story moved at a slow pace and then it peaked to the climax all of a sudden. I know main stories aren't expected to be too long since there are follow up stories but as I recall correctly, the mc only accompanied him on two official duties, they weren't always together like some of the couples in the other apps. And to clarify this, the mc did not live with Scorpio at the god's residence, she was able to return to her apartment and go to work normally with the exception of being called whenever Scorpio needed. Though it might have made the story better if she did live at the mansion and had more interactions with the guys like the mc from 10 days with my devil.

Continuing on, I can tell that there were some moments throughout the story where Scorpio may have fallen for the mc but his feelings weren't that obvious until he confessed. And that was the main reason why the mc was always in confusion about his feelings and attitude towards her. He may have just been uncertain about his own feelings as well since he has hated humans for so long and now loving one is probably new to him. I guess I would've liked it more if Scorpio was more involved in the mc's normal life as well. As I mentioned before, they weren't always seen together since the mc had a good amount of freedom and because of this, Scorpio didn't really visit the planetarium after the time they met until the epilogue. Most of the time he just tells his little helper 彦星 Altair to call her over to the god's residence. I think the only time he went on his own to see her was when she was kidnapped and held hostage, other than that its usually Altair acting as a messenger or the other gods inviting her over. When they are together, its because of Scorpio's duties or whatever he calls her for; and the mc is just there to act as his aid. Another thing to add in is that they had quite a lot of arguments and times where the mc felt insecure, so this may have been a flaw to their relationship as well (can't be helped when Scorpio is so oblivious and hardheaded most of the time).

Soryu and Scorpio are both categorized in the "cool" category so they both give off a similar vibe but Scorpio is pretty much the polar opposite at times. Prior to playing Scorpio's route I mentioned that hes similar to Soryu when they first met the mc as they were both rude and somewhat threatening to her but overall Soryu exhibited more kindness to the mc.
Scorpio is pretty much distanced from the other gods as well because of his attitude and strictness. Though he does have a closer relationship with his superior ジュゴラビス (libra) and Altair, hes still more of a lone wolf while Soryu has his Ice Dragon members to rely on even if he didn't want help from the Tres Spades crew. The other gods did kind of help bring the two together but didn't really help Scorpio in terms of his duties and such, mostly because they all had their own difficulties and duties to attend to.

Soryu dislikes women because he thinks they're a bother but the reason why Scorpio despises humans so much is because when he was still a human he was involved with an assassination organization. This changed his whole view on humans and led him to become a god. That's mainly the reason why he doesn't warm up to the mc as quickly as the other gods do; he appears heartless towards humans and puts up a barrier between him and them so that he wouldn't have to become acquainted. Yet he needs the mc's help to return to the 天界 (can mean heaven or celestial sphere) so he basically has to interact with her. I'm sure because of this, Scorpio feels more safe and comfortable in the skies so he desperately wants to return.

If I were to further compare the two, I would say Scorpio is the more aggressive closet pervert (will be explained in another post). I've come to think that Soryu's love for the mc is more pure and sweet like a real first love while Scorpio is more like a lonely wolf seeking for affection and love. When Soryu gets intimate with the mc hes more gentle but Scorpio is like a beast, and gets a bit forceful sometimes. With that aside, although Scorpio seems nonchalant, he does come to the mc's rescue for all the times she was in trouble. He protects her and doesn't let her get harmed but sometimes his words and way of handling their relationship hurts her more.

Soryu and Scorpio both aren't the friendly intimate type so they both have a rude way of addressing her throughout most of the main story. I recall Soryu calling the mc woman or you but Scorpio just calls her クソ女/damn woman, クソ人間/damn human, and くず which means waste/rubbish and he keeps calling her that even till the epilogue... Scorpio's more "gentle" way of calling her is バカ and あほ which means idiot/fool. His ways of addressing her are the most unpleasant, everyone else either calls her 女神/goddess, 金魚/goldfish, or her name with whichever suffix they prefer. And to be honest, Leon's way of calling her goldfish (more on pet terms than aesthetically) sounds better than all of Scorpio's ways to call the mc besides her actual name which he only uses in desperate times or when hes confessing his feelings/getting intimate...

Although Scorpio is ill-mannered most of the time, he is starting to open up to the mc. This is a first to him so he probably isn't sure what to do and therefore almost always tries to read the mc's thoughts to seek assurance and comprehension. Scorpio isn't the type to admit the truth so easily and tends to bully the girl he likes. I think hes somewhat immature though he has that cool appearance and strong demeanor. In comparison, Soryu is more understanding and considerate to the mc always thinking about her feelings first but Scorpio usually pretends to play it off cool and not admit to things. And not to forget that Scorpio is an extreme possessive sadist. On the bright side, one really cute thing is that Scorpio blushes even at the littlest things and when he does hes super adorable since he has so many blushing faces! Though it may seem as if I pointed out all his bad traits, I do really like his character and can see that he will be more caring towards the mc in the future stories.

*Phew with all that said, I'm going to end the review here. I'm most likely going to create a new post for some screenshots, the short story, and anything else important that I forgot to mention in this post.
